Please read the following information before tracking your school's shipment.

During the month of August, all public and state accredited-nonpublic K-12 schools in Indiana will receive shipments of Back-to-School Student Success materials for the 2013-2014 academic year. Each box will be clearly marked with a bright green label that has the state seal printed on it.

What was shipped?

Each public and state accredited-nonpublic K-12 school in Indiana received the following, based on the grades served by the particular school:

·         Learn More Student Success Guides (grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-10)

o    Provided to help students succeed in school and plan, prepare and pay for college and career success. All magazines feature Indiana students and include age-appropriate activities that align with Indiana’s Universal Student Standards for Guidance.

o    Quantities received are based on student enrollment plus a 20% overage. Do not discard additional copies as community organizations and neighboring schools may request your extra magazines.

·         NEXT Indiana: A Guide to Life After High School (grades 11 and 12)

o    Provided to help students graduate high school and connect to postsecondary education and career options, including two- and four-year colleges, apprenticeship programs, the military and more.

o    Quantities received are based on student enrollment plus a 20% overage. Do not discard additional copies as community organizations and neighboring schools may request your extra magazines.

·         College GO! Week Campaign Materials (grades K-12)

o    Provided to help Hoosiers of all ages take practical steps to plan for college success, the 2013 College GO! Week campaign kicks off statewide on September 23, 2013.

o    Materials for the campaign (also available online at CollegeGoWeekIndiana.org) include:

§  Starter Guides: Use these guides to help plan College GO! Week activities at your school. Note that this year’s campaign features contests for all K-12 students and a $1,000 College Success Grant for schools.

§  Posters: Display around your school to encourage students to plan for college (note that posters are two-sided to provide additional campaign details).

§  Student Info Cards: Distribute to students to promote the campaign goals and contests. (Student winners receive Indiana CollegeChoice 529 Savings Plans to be used for educational expenses.)
